| 10.30 | Arrive at Ao Thalane, one of the most beautiful mangrove forests in the whole of Thailand. The famous Karst mountains provide the backdrop for this area with its complex network of channels that meander through the dense mangroves. Spend the morning paddling in the cool shade of the Ao Thalane canyons. These towering cliffs protect the endangered mangrove environment at the coast. You’ll explore various coves and, if you’re lucky, see wild monkeys and other wildlife. The tour guide will give you basic instructions on how to kayak and life jackets are provided. The tour is on flat calm water so it is well within the capabilities of first time kayakers or kids. Kayaking in Thailand's Ao Thalane is a magical experience and total paddle time is around 1.5 hours, not including breaks. | |
